Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an Industrial Electrician for the Longview, TX area. This non-exempt role involves planning layouts, installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures and control equipment on industrial sites. The position is a contract of ~3 months or longer, reporting to the Foreman.

Required: high school diploma, 1–4 years electrical experience, knowledge of tools, NCCER A-class certs, and post-offer drug screening with strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–4 years of experience in electrical work depending on level.
• Safety council and life-critical experience required.
• Knowledge of electrician's tools and how to use them.
• Working on 600V/69kV systems requires qualification.
• NCCER certification for A-class Electricians preferred.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and safety policy acceptance.
• Comply with company and client job-site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plans layouts to install or modify wiring and equipment.
• Install and repair wiring, fixtures and control equipment.
• Ensure safety and code compliance in all tasks.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs.
