Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking Journeyman Electricians for Deer Park, TX. This non-exempt role involves planning, installing, and repairing wiring, fixtures, and control equipment aboard industrial sites. Reports to the Foreman and follows site procedures and safety rules.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, 4 years of experience, NFPA 70e certificate, Texas electrical apprenticeship license, and NCCER for A-class electricians. Drug screen and safety policies apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience in electrical work (depends on level).
• NFPA 70e certificate (2024 standard) and Texas electrical apprenticeship license.
• Knowledge of electrician's tools and their use.
• Qualified for work on 600V or 69kV industrial systems.
• NCCER certification for A-class Electricians.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and safety policy agreement.
• Compliance with safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan/modify wiring layouts to minimize waste and facilitate maintenance.
• Provide access for future maintenance and ensure safe, reliable wiring.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to route conduit, walls, ceilings.
• Install conduit, pull wires, splice/connect to fixtures and equipment.
• Install control/distribution equipment and grounding leads.
• Test circuits for safety and functionality and adjust as needed.
• Perform repairs as directed by supervisor.
