Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of electrician experience depending on level.
• Knowledge of electrician's tools and how to use them.
• Qualification for 600V/69kV high voltage systems may be required.
• Most sites require NCCER certification for A-class Electricians.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen and safety policy acceptance.
• Compliance with company and client site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety of others.

Responsibilities

• Plan and install/repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment.
• Prepare layouts and sketches showing wiring locations and equipment.
• Install conduit, pull wires, splice, and connect lighting and power equipment.
• Test circuits for continuity and safety; observe and adjust as needed.
• Follow diagrams/blueprints; ensure safe and reliable electrical installations.
