Job summary

Turner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for an Industrial Electrician in the Longview, TX area. The Electrician plans layout, installs and repairs wiring and control equipment.

This non-exempt role reports to the Foreman and follows specific procedures; duration is 3 months or longer. Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–4 years of electrical experience, safety-minded, and NCCER certification for A-class Electricians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of electrical experience (level dependent).
• Safety council and life-critical requirements.
• Knowledge of electrician's tools and how to use them.
• Qualified for >600V/69kV HV systems.
• NCCER certification for A-class Electricians.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and safety policy adherence.
• Comply with site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct health or safety threat.

Responsibilities

• Plan new or modified installations to minimize material waste.
• Provide access for maintenance and ensure safe wiring.
• Prepare sketches or follow diagrams/blueprints.
• Install and test electrical conduit and wiring.
• Connect lighting fixtures and power equipment, control panels.
• Test circuit continuity and component safety.
• Relocate or replace equipment as needed.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by supervision.
