Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an on-site Electrical/Controls Technician for Swedesboro, NJ. You will maintain and document electrical/control systems, diagnose issues, and support Electro-Mechanics across shifts to ensure continuous production.

You will work with Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi software, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and adhere to GMP, safety, and company procedures. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software, as well as preventive maintenance software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems design documentation.
• Experience with control system projects, including machine layout, control drawings, P&ID, and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control issues.
• Coordinate and train Electro-Mechanics across shifts as needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on control systems and related networks.
