PATCO Products in Dolton, Illinois is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our manufacturing team. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate, and maintain industrial electrical equipment and control systems across the facility.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of maintenance experience, a journeyman license or higher, and the ability to read schematics. This union role offers first shift hours (7:30 AM–4:00 PM) with overtime possible.

Qualificações

• Journeyman-level electrician license or higher.
• 3–5+ years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and production equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices, applicable codes, and safe troubleshooting procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize maintenance needs, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to document maintenance activities and repairs using a CMMS.
• Ability to work the assigned first-shift schedule, including overtime and weekends as operational needs require.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on industrial manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Install, inspect, test, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, motors, control systems, fixtures, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLCs, PCMs, I/O cabinets, conveyors, and production machinery.
• Read electrical schematics and manuals to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Inspect electrical systems for hazards and ensure compliance with codes.
• Plan and execute electrical installations and modifications per specifications and codes.
• Calibrate electrical instruments and control systems to support performance and quality.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs in CMMS.
