Job summary

PATCO Products is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our Dolton, IL manufacturing team. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and instrumentation across the facility, ensuring safe, reliable operations.

The role emphasizes reducing downtime, adhering to GMP/SOP/HACCP standards, and collaborating with Maintenance and Production to improve equipment reliability. This union position offers a first shift schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level electrician license or higher.
• 3–5+ years of electrical maintenance experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and instrumentation issues on industrial equipment.
• Install, inspect, test, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, motors, and control systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLCs, PCMs, I/O cabinets, conveyors, and instrumentation.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals to resolve issues.
• Inspect systems to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs while complying with electrical codes.
• Plan and perform electrical installations and modifications per specs and codes.
• Calibrate electrical instruments and control systems to support performance and quality.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Production to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs using CMMS.
