Job summary

PATCO Products in Dolton, Illinois is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for the second shift (3:30 PM–12:00 AM) to support our manufacturing operations. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, performing mechanical and minor electrical work according to schematics and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, accurate recordkeeping, and collaboration with Production and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime while ensuring a safe work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or trade school education preferred.
• Mechanical trade and welding skills preferred.
• Ability to understand and interpret piping schematics and blueprints.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and pneumatic equipment.
• Install, maintain, repair, and rebuild equipment and control systems per schematics and work instructions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safe plant operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine repair or replacement parts.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and PPE usage.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain logs.
