Job summary

General Mills Operations, LLC. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Industrial Electrician to support packaging, processing, sanitation, and the startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment. This role is on 2nd and/or 3rd shift, with 7-day coverage and potential overtime.

The position offers shift differentials, overtime pay, and comprehensive benefits. Candidates should have a strong safety mindset and the ability to read electrical schematics and work with PLCs and VFDs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 3-5 years of related industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to work safely around 480-volt systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.
• Willingness to work overtime, all shifts, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support production packaging and processing operations.
• Support sanitation operations.
• Participate in startup, changeover, and shutdown of equipment.
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical components and drive systems.
• Maintain and update electrical documentation.
• Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives.
