Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Technician, Electrical in Sulphur, LA to install, maintain and repair electrical systems up to 480V, with focus on motors, MCCs and switchgear. You will ensure safe, reliable operations and adherence to NEC and safety standards.

The role requires a Journeyman Electrician license, a high school diploma, TWIC or ability to obtain, and a valid driver’s license, with on-site responsibilities and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Electrician license required; Master Electrician preferred.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain TWIC.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Participate in commissioning activities.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems up to 480V (motors, MCCs, breakers, transformers).
• Diagnose and repair power distribution systems and electrical faults.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret one-line diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts.
• Interface with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
