Job summary

Venture Global LNG in Plaquemines, LA, seeks a Maintenance Technician, Electrical to perform safe, efficient electrical maintenance across the PLNG facility. The role collaborates with Maintenance and Engineering teams to deliver reliable plant operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance electrical work within oil, gas, LNG, or petrochemical settings, with knowledge of NFPA 70E/70B and 138 kV systems. Join a team focused on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of maintenance electrical technician work experience in oil and gas, LNG, or petrochemical facilities.
Knowledge of electrical industrial standards and regulations (NETA, NFPA 70E/70B, NEC).
Experience with power generation and distribution systems (5 Kv - 138 Kv).

Responsibilities

Execute preventive and corrective electrical maintenance per HSSE standards.
Follow VG maintenance processes and site procedures.
Act as SME for electrical systems and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams.
Prepare hazard analyses and permits in advance of work.
Supervise contractor work and ensure safe completion and quality.
Maintain daily work progress reports and timecards.
Support FAT/SAT and commissioning activities as required.
Contribute to continuous improvement and training of personnel.
