Job summary
Portobello America is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Baxter, TN. You will maintain electrical systems and equipment across the production line, diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety regulations to minimize downtime and improve plant efficiency.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, supporting installation of new equipment, maintaining SOPs, and generating reports for supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical cert preferred.
- Licensed electrician or journeyman certification preferred.
- 2+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience with PLC systems, automated control systems, and high-voltage equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in production equipment; diagnose faults in sensors, control circuits, and wiring.
- Ensure proper functioning of PLC and other automated systems.
- Assist in installation of new machinery and electrical systems per standards.
- Update electrical components to match manufacturing process requirements.
- Adhere to electrical safety procedures and conduct safety inspections.
