Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment at a on-site food manufacturing plant in Hiram. You will respond to equipment issues, read schematics, and independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems during 12-hour shifts.

The role requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with motors, sensors, VFDs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and a strong commitment to safety and quality practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of production equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, sensors and controls.
• Reading schematics and using diagnostic tools; PLC troubleshooting required; programming a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus; good safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and ladder logic faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
