Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Ohio is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to keep production lines running at a food manufacturing plant in Hiram. The role requires hands-on maintenance of motors, sensors, controls, PLCs, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Candidates should have 3+ years of industrial maintenance, read schematics, troubleshoot PLCs, and work on-site with occasional day/night shifts in a 12-hour rotating schedule. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
Experience reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.
PLC troubleshooting required; PLC programming is a plus.
Welding experience is a plus.
Basic computer skills and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
Repair and maintain production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including PLC I/O diagnostics and reading ladder logic to identify faults.
Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records.
Identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes.
Request parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
