Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Hiram, OH is hiring a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a food manufacturing plant.

You will work on motors, sensors, controls and PLCs, read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and support a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shift with a nightly premium.

This on-site role requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED; welding is a plus and PLC experience is required.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting motors, sensors, controls, PLCs.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• PLC troubleshooting experience required; PLC programming a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production equipment issues and troubleshoot.
• Repair and maintain machinery including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Independently troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and read ladder logic.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep records.
• Request parts and supplies needed for repairs.
• Follow plant safety procedures and food manufacturing quality practices.
