Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to support a large industrial manufacturing facility in Waco, GA. The role focuses on electrical systems, controls, and PLC-driven equipment, with hands-on troubleshooting rather than programming.

You will respond to breakdowns, connect to PLCs, and diagnose root causes using existing PLC logic. Independent troubleshooting and collaboration with the maintenance team are essential to keep production running efficiently.

Qualifications

Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
Hands-on troubleshooting of PLC-controlled equipment.
Ability to read PLC logic for troubleshooting purposes.
Experience with drives/VFDs and electrical control circuits.

Responsibilities

Respond to breakdowns in electrical and controls systems across the facility.
Connect to PLCs via laptop using Ethernet or wireless.
Troubleshoot Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs; review logic to identify root causes.
Perform control circuit troubleshooting and drive replacement/configuration.
Make minor PLC logic changes as needed; prioritize with shift supervisor.
Work with maintenance to keep production equipment running smoothly.
