Job summary

Arconic in Springdale, Arkansas is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Building and Construction Team. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, and repair equipment to keep extrusion, water treatment, anodizing, and painting operations running smoothly.

You must be able to lift moderately to heavily, work flexible shifts, and may need overtime.

Qualifications

• Synergy Tech Skills Assessment must be taken and meet minimum requirements.
• Initiative to learn new tasks and training willing.
• Enthusiastic about learning equipment and failure patterns.
• Self motivation and self discipline.
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Must be flexible to work any shift, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Overtime may be required by management.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems and formulate solutions to fix issues.
• Fix most problems with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot small electrical circuits and pump systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical drive systems (belts, motors, chains).
• Repair mechanical failures in a timely fashion.
• Perform PMs such as oil level checks and mechanical inspections.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
