Job summary

Arconic Corporation in Springdale, AR, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the Maintenance team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve industrial controls and PLCs, while supporting TPM activities and back-up electrician duties.

The role requires CNC and PLC experience, diagnostic skills, and ability to read complex prints. On-site work with flexible hours, focusing on safe, efficient plant maintenance.

Qualifications

• Read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
• Perform controls wiring projects and draw circuit prints.
• Learn CNC fundamentals and operate CNC machines for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CNC, PLCs, drives including servo and motion control.
• Knowledge of electrical circuitry and troubleshooting failed components.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and improve in-house industrial controls and PLCs; perform preventative maintenance.
• Serve as back-up Company electrician for building/grounds maintenance and TPM activities.
• Develop new PLC programs for small projects and diagnose malfunctioning systems (90% PLC focus).
• Adjust, calibrate, and document effects on unit performance; support TPM and 5S initiatives.
• Assist in writing manuals and procedures for equipment operation and maintenance.
• Communicate with customers and sales to develop job strategies and applications.
• Maintain and repair CNC equipment and train others in operation and safety.
