Job summary

Novolex is seeking an Electrical Technician in Elizabeth, NJ to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical problems across all manufacturing equipment. You will install, maintain and repair systems essential to plant operations, safety, and food-service readiness, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to energy-saving practices.

The role requires 3–5 years of electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and electrical training with NOCTI eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of electrical experience is needed.
• Must have proper electrical education training and be able to pass the NOCTI.
• Must have basic reading, math and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical problems in a manufacturing environment.
• Install, maintain and repair equipment to support plant operations and safety procedures.
• Monitor equipment to prevent downtime and ensure compliance with GMP and food-safety requirements.
• Read voltage, resistance and wire wiring diagrams; manage low/high voltage circuitry.
• Replace faulty light fixtures and electrical components; maintain accurate work records.
