Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician to maintain and repair electrical aspects of CNC machine tools, robots, and process equipment in a manufacturing setting. The role requires electrical knowledge, PLC familiarity, and the ability to work rotating shifts to meet production needs.

The candidate should have an associate degree or equivalent military electronics training and be prepared for 2nd or 3rd shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in electrical tech or mechatronics or military electronics training.
• Willingness to work off shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical aspects of CNC machine tools, PLC ladder, VFD motors, and robotics.
• Diagnose problems, plan and complete work, identify and order parts.
• Install, modify, test, and repair electrical and electronic control systems up to 600V.
• Maintain and modify machine tools, process equipment and facilities.
• Apply knowledge of drives, PLCs, sensors and related electronics.
