Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for a 2:00pm–10:30pm shift to support production and facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair and install complex electrical and mechanical equipment, work on process controls, and perform general maintenance on machines and conveyors.

You will read drawings, follow instructions in English, and contribute to preventive maintenance programs. The role requires welding, metal fabrication, carpentry, and plumbing skills, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Must hold a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment desirable.
• 5+ years installing, maintaining and repairing machinery desirable.
• Basic construction skills in light metal fabrication, carpentry and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and install complex electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Work on process/electronic controls.
• Independently repair secondary distribution systems and industrial power.
• Perform general maintenance on machines, conveyors and structures.
• Weld using arc, gas or automatic welding equipment.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules with supervisor.
• Communicate repair status to managers and supervisors.
• Assist training of others in maintenance tasks.
