Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Technician for the 2nd or 3rd shift in Waco, TX. This on-site role focuses on electrical maintenance and repair of production and facility equipment, interfacing with subcontractors, and ordering parts.

The position requires strong adherence to safety, code compliance, and continuous improvement within a busy manufacturing plant. The candidate will read blueprints, work with electrical test equipment, and update plant drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Install, maintain and repair AC/DC electrical components and motors.
• Troubleshoot complex drives and PLC systems with OEM support as needed.
• Maintain electrical drawings and UPS systems using AutoCad.
• Ensure safe work environment and compliance with NEC and ITAR requirements.
