Job summary

J.F. Electric, Incorporated. is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects in our Commercial/Industrial Division. You will lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and customer coordination from bid through completion.

Responsibilities include directing on-site foremen, ensuring OSHA compliance, producing progress reports, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The role requires travel and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Industrial project experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management or apprenticeship accepted as alternative.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage schedules and attend shifts on time.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and track projects from bid to completion with leadership team and foremen.
• Establish objectives, plan work per contract specs and assign tasks.
• Maintain customer contact to facilitate project activities.
• Monitor progress, control costs and keep schedule on track.
• Represent the company in meetings and with project stakeholders.
• Prepare reports on WIP, changes, costs and scheduling; flag overruns promptly.
• Enforce safety and OSHA requirements; supervise PPE usage and safe work practices.
• Travel project-dependent and cross-train to cover division responsibilities.
