J.F. Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects in Illinois.

You will oversee the bid process, coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and field teams, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include developing project plans, tracking progress, handling permits, managing change orders, and communicating with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Strong leadership and influencing potential.
• Ability to adhere to a schedule and reliably show up for all scheduled shifts on time.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn Primavera within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead with bid process input and recommendations on bids.
• Assist PMs with managing electrical construction projects from winning the bid to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans and objectives per contract specifications.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Monitor and track projects; assist with cost controls and profitability.
• Ensure timely permits and compliance as directed by PM.
• Prepare reports on work progress, costs, and scheduling.
• Attend job site meetings and communicate with crews and klanten.
