Job summary

J.F. Electric is seeking a qualified professional to oversee electrical project management from bid to completion. You will interpret plan/spec documents, manage progress with foremen and leadership, and ensure adherence to safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, with proficiency in Word/Excel and familiarity with Accubid. Some travel and on-site coordination are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, or complete an apprenticeship program.
• Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to adhere to a schedule and reliably show up for all scheduled shifts.
• Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Accubid.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Learn to interpret plan/spec documents and accurate take-offs.
• Proactively manage and track projects from winning the bid to completion with leadership.
• Represent the company in project meetings and coordinate with foremen.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA guidelines on site.
• Maintain project documentation and manage red-lines as required.
• Support on-site fleet management and travel as needed.
