Job summary

AbbVie is seeking aMaintenance Technician for a 7 PM–7:30 AM shift, Sunday through Tuesday and every other Saturday. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing production and packaging equipment to meet quality and safety standards, with documentation and training responsibilities.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with set-ups and changeovers while upholding cGMP and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent with 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance performing mechanical/electrical repairs.
• High School diploma or GED with 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance performing mechanical/electrical repairs.
• Mastery in Electrical & Mechanical Troubleshooting and proficiency with multiple types of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Regulatory experience in a cGMP or FDA regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work area during and at the end of each shift.
• Assist in achieving environmental, health, and safety goals by working safely and observing safety policies.
• Perform all assigned duties according to SOPs and cGMPs.
• Remain current on procedures by reviewing SOPs.
• Complete required cGMP and safety training.
• Maintain/repair production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime.
• Assist with set-up and changeovers of production/packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate corrective actions to reduce defects and downtime.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced mechanics on PMs, set-up and changeovers.
