Job summary

Amteck, a nationally recognized electrical design-build contractor, seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to inspect and service electrical systems in industrial settings. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and ensure compliance with NFPA 70B and NETA standards to maximize uptime and safety.

The role requires strong electrical theory knowledge, fault-diagnosis skills, and proactive communication with customers and the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of NEC rules.
• Ability to interpret arc-flash studies.
• Proficient with instruments and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA standards.
• Inspect and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
• Maintain safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
• Document inspections and actions accurately.
• Communicate with customers and team about conditions.
