Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to provide electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, and troubleshooting for multiple operating machines in a manufacturing environment. The role requires familiarity with hydraulics, steam systems, and pneumatics, plus the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot industrial electrical control systems down to component level.
• Operate and maintain automated industrial machinery including motors, drives, relays, and sensors.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely electrical support for manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installation, service, and repair of machines.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment downtime quickly to sustain productivity.
