Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, test and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems across the plant in Fort Worth, TX. The role emphasizes safety, reliability and proactive problem solving, with potential overtime and weekend work as needed.

You will work on equipment such as corrugators and conveyors, read blueprints and schematics, operate tools and meters, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Maintain machines and plant equipment.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Lift up to 75 lbs and perform manual tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Work in a team environment and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machines and plant equipment.
• Repair electrical/electronic and mechanical systems.
• Move equipment and machinery as needed.
• Monitor boiler operation and perform minor corrections.
• Adhere to safety, housekeeping and quality requirements.
• Report major concerns to supervisors.
