Job summary

Amteck, LLC is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. Travel up to 100% may be required to support customer sites and field training.

The role emphasizes NFPA 70B/70E compliance, OEM specifications, NETA standards, and maintaining reliability, safety, and efficiency of facility electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of power distribution and electrical theory.
• Ability to develop preventive maintenance strategies per standards.
• Proficient with diagnostic instruments and testing equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports.
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E safety rules.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA.
• Infrared thermography to identify faults.
• Visual inspections of components for wear or damage.
• Lubricate and service electrical equipment.
• Test power distribution, control equipment, and motors.
• Document inspections, actions, and recommendations.
• Maintain safety procedures and LOTO compliance.
• Coordinate with customers and team on work performed.
• Support EHS initiatives.
