Job summary

Amteck is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards while maintaining reliability and safety of facility electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include infrared thermography, visual inspections, equipment servicing, and accurate documentation. Travel up to 100% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70B, NEC, and NETA standards.
• Experience implementing preventive maintenance strategies.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults and heat signatures.
• Inspect wiring and components for wear, contamination, or damage.
• Service electrical equipment to ensure reliability and longevity.
• Test power distribution, control equipment, and motors for proper function.
• Document inspections, results, actions, and recommendations accurately.
• Follow LOTO and arc-flash safety procedures; integrate safety into tasks.
• Engage with customers and team members to communicate equipment condition.
