Job summary
Nippon Dynawave Packaging Co. in Longview, WA is seeking an Industrial Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician.
This on-site, full-time role focuses on troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems within a continuous-process manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will diagnose complex equipment issues, read schematics, and apply preventive maintenance while adhering to safety standards, LOTO practices, and team-based reliability
Qualifications
- Combination shows journey-level competency with at least three years' hands-on experience.
- Commitment to safety and safe work practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration with teams.
- Experience with MS Office and maintenance software.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Diagnose motors, VFDs, PLCs, DCS, and process control equipment.
- Calibrate and maintain instrumentation and field devices.
- Read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and loop drawings.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Work with operations to improve reliability and safety.
