Qualifications

• Five years of hands-on mechanical experience in a continuous process industry or construction trades.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints without supervision.
• Own machinist tools up to 6 inches.
• Balancing skills preferred.
• Must have layout skills and be a team player.
• Understand safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Interact with team members and customers for mechanical services in a self-directed team.
• Work in environments with heat, humidity and noise; follow safety practices.
• Set up and operate manual machinery including lathe, knee mill, and drills.
• Troubleshoot failures in rotating assemblies (pumps, motors, gearboxes, fans, conveyors).
• Read blueprints and lay out jobs; use computers and related software.
