Job summary

Nippon Dynawave Packaging Company has an immediate opening for Journeyman Mechanical Maintenance Technicians with a hands-on mechanical background, including pipe fitting, in a self-directed, safety‑driven heavy industrial setting. This on-site role is based in Longview, WA.

The starting wage is $44.69 per hour, with a potential range to $47.15. Five years of experience and journey-level rating in pipe fitting, welding or a related trade are required; excellent teamwork and safety commitment are

Qualifications

• Five years of hands-on mechanical experience in a continuous process industry or related field.
• Journey-level rating in pipe fitting, welding, mechanical trades, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding and troubleshooting of rotating assemblies.
• Ability to read and apply equipment drawings and work plans.

Responsibilities

• Safely install, repair, inspect, adjust and troubleshoot mechanical equipment.
• Work from work plans and equipment drawings.
• Take measurements, enter requisitions and install parts under supervision.
• Collaborate with team and communicate with customers.
• Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out and PPE procedures.
• Work outdoors in a heavy industrial setting with potential heat/noise.
