Job summary

Qnity is seeking an experienced electrical technician for our Newark, NJ facility to troubleshoot, install, maintain and repair electrical equipment up to 480VAC, 3-phase, including motors and drives.

Responsibilities include plant equipment control valves, sensors, wiring, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and assisting in safety/compliance. Requires Delaware electrician license with possible Master license; 5+ years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Delaware Journeyperson Electrician License required.
• Active Master Electrician License through the Delaware Board preferred but not required.
• Instrumentation and electrical knowledge and experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Willing to respond to off-hour emergencies and overtime for outage coverage.
• Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, and HR/timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, installs, maintains, and repairs equipment up to 480VAC, 3-phase.
• Maintains and tests plant equipment incl. valves, regulators, and pneumatic systems.
• Works with sensors, flow/pressure/temperature instruments and weigh cells.
• Performs interlock testing and safety/compliance tasks.
• Assists in writing procedures and training on I&E operations.
