Job summary

Church & Dwight is seeking an experienced industrial electrician for our New Jersey facility. The role focuses on maintaining electrical and control systems, including PLCs, motors, and switchgear, while upholding GMP and safety standards.

You will work Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with responsibilities spanning diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum five (5) years as an industrial electrician with mechanical equipment repair experience.
Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments (consumer packaged goods, food, or pharma) preferred.
Familiarity with FDA/GMP requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

Promote safety culture and compliance with all policies and procedures.
Install, monitor, test, repair, and replace electrical circuits, motors, lighting, and transformers.
Operate and maintain high voltage switchgear, MCCs, and PLCs.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components on machinery.
Troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and assist controls engineer.
Interpret blueprints and read electrical schematics; install wiring and conduit.
Create work notifications in the Maintenance Management System.
Report and communicate work status to the team.
