Job summary
Qnity in Newark, Delaware seeks a skilled electrician to support advanced electronics manufacturing. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing, maintaining and repairing electrical equipment up to 480VAC, 3-phase, such as motors, drives, switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
Ideal candidates hold a Delaware Journeyperson Electrician license (Master license preferred) with manufacturing experience.
Qualifications
- Delaware Journeyperson Electrician license is required.
- Master Electrician license preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots, installs, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment up to 480VAC, 3-phase including motors, drives, switch gear, transformers, and UPS systems.
- Troubleshoots, maintains plant equipment including valves, regulators, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Tests, calibrates, and repairs instruments (flow, pressure, temperature, level, weight cells, proximity).
- Conducts interlock testing and ensures safety and compliance per policies.
- Assists in design input, drafting, and maintenance procedures; provides training on equipment use and safety.
- Works with suppliers and SAP to define spare parts and service intervals.
