Qualifications

• 6 years industrial construction experience with 2 years in supervisory roles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications.

Responsibilities

• Identify safe practices and at-risk conditions and take on-the-spot corrective action.
• Check adequacy of existing job methods and procedures.
• Instruct journeymen in specific craft tasks and safety procedures.
• Coordinate across crafts to prevent jurisdictional conflicts and ensure workflow.
• Read blueprints, interpret specs, and inspect finished work for quality and completeness.
• Understand work scope, priorities, and schedules; complete planned work on time.
• Identify potential problems early and take remedial action if deviations occur.
• Help stay within project cost goals and document time, backcharges, quantity, and status.
