Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active enrollment in an accredited university program pursuing a bachelor's in Engineering.
• Strong interest in industrial engineering technologies and real-world applications.
• Willingness to work a flexible summer schedule and cross-train across departments.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train through the department to learn hands-on skills related to industrial/engineering technologies
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend cost saving opportunities by identifying process, quality and safety related improvement projects
• Work closely with the continuous improvement team to work on process improvement initiatives & projects
• Presentation/Report on an improvement project at the end of internship
• Ability to troubleshoot work related problems using job knowledge, experience, and by communicating with others
• Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
