Commercial Metals Company maintains a strong internship program in Seguin, TX. The Maintenance Mechanical Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience across recycling centers, fabrication plants, and facilities while supporting maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates are junior/senior engineering students familiar with AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and able to work up to 40 hours weekly during the summer. A safety-conscious, proactive attitude is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited engineering program.
• Interest in Industrial Engineering Technologies and maintenance.
• Willing to work a 40-hour work week during summer (June-August).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Cross-train to learn hands-on skills related to industrial/engineering tech.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvement projects.
• Collaborate with continuous improvement teams on initiatives.
• Present a project summary at internship end.
• Assist in troubleshooting and safety program participation.
