Job summary

Genuine Search Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead power distribution reliability, equipment troubleshooting, and electrical safety across a heavy industrial plant. The role requires technical authority on high- and low-voltage systems and plant automation.

You will oversee NFPA 70E compliance, arc flash analysis, LOTO, and safety regulations while coordinating with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 2+ years in industrial power distribution and heavy motors.
• Experience with medium-voltage equipment (4.16 kV–13.8 kV) and digital relays.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E, arc flash analysis, and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical safety programs and ensure NFPA 70E compliance on site.
• Maintain and troubleshoot substation, switchgear, MCCs, batteries, UPS, transformers, and drives.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Oversee periodic PdM activities, thermal imaging, insulation testing, and relay testing.
• Plan and manage electrical upgrades, retrofits, and capital projects.
• Support large motors, VFDs, soft starters, and heavy equipment during outages.
• Update one-line diagrams, prints, and arc flash studies.
