Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and outside contractors, this individual will play a key role in supporting both day-to-day production requirements and longer-term facility improvements. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee electrical system design, capacity planning, and upgrades, including load calculations, equipment sizing, and the coordination of arc-flash, short-circuit, and electrical protection studies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards, including NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA requirements, while supporting electrical safety programs, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering to improve electrical system reliability, troubleshoot equipment and infrastructure issues, and develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies that minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Maintain accurate engineering drawings, electrical one-line diagrams, equipment specifications, and project documentation while providing technical direction to contractors and internal personnel.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline OR equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of three years of engineering experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment, with substantial exposure to electrical infrastructure and power distribution systems.

  • Working knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices, including NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe electrical work practices.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical one-line diagrams, and technical specifications. Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software, along with strong project management and communication skills.
