Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the team responsible for developing E&I best practices, NFPA compliance, and infrastructure maintenance. The role involves supporting electrical and control systems, including PLCs, DCS, HMI, SCADA, and power distribution.

The ideal candidate will promote safety, enforce SOPs, and contribute to capital projects and training for electricians, ensuring robust electrical safety programs and reliable production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or technical certifications.
• Experience with electrical power distribution and control systems is required.
• Proficient in PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, and electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety advocate and prioritize employee health and safety.
• Report safety incidents and ensure SOPs are up-to-date; manage lockout/tagout procedures.
• Enforce safety policies, quality, and production goals.
• Monitor and maintain power systems including UPS and plant distribution.
• Provide technical support for electrical and control systems (PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA).
• Assist with installing and programming equipment and train electricians.
• Maintain NFPA 70E glove program and select arc-rated PPE.
