Job summary

WSP is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join the Industrial Center of Excellence. This role supports the Property & Buildings – Industrial team across multiple U.S. locations, delivering high-performance electrical designs for complex facilities.

You will design power distribution, power systems, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and controls, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and prepare specs and drawings through project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering design for industrial, manufacturing, or large facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design for industrial projects including power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, structural, plumbing, process, controls).
• Prepare calculations, construction documents, specifications, and reports.
• Review designs for NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and local codes.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and support project managers with schedules and deliverables.
