Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our Industrial Center of Excellence. This role supports design for diverse industrial projects and works with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust electrical systems.

You will assist with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and life safety, and coordinate with mechanical, process, and controls engineers while developing technical expertise under senior mentorship. Location across the U.S. is available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
1–3 years of electrical engineering experience in industrial/building projects.
EIT certification preferred.
Familiarity with NEC/NFPA codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Support electrical engineering design for diverse industrial projects.
Assist with design of power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems.
Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
Support site visits, field investigations, and construction activities.
Review designs for compliance with applicable codes and client requirements.
