Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Industrial Center of Excellence. The role supports electrical design for a range of industrial projects across the United States, including manufacturing, life sciences, and mission-critical facilities.

The position involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring code compliance. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of industrial electrical design experience, an EIT, and strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering design for industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, life sciences, semiconductor, battery manufacturing, or large commercial facilities.
• EIT Certificate.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE codes and standards.
• Experience preparing construction documents, specifications, and technical calculations.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and common electrical design software.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of electrical engineering design for a variety of industrial projects.
• Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, emergency power, lighting, and life safety systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, construction documents, and reports.
• Coordinate electrical designs with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Participate in all phases of project delivery from planning to closeout.
• Conduct site visits and field investigations to verify design implementation.
