Job summary

WSP seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Industrial Center of Excellence, supporting electrical design for diverse industrial projects across the U.S. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams on power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and life safety systems, and ensure codes compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5-7 years of experience, EIT, and proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5–7 years of electrical design experience for industrial facilities.
• EIT certification or licensure pursued/completed.
• Experience designing building electrical systems including power, lighting and emergency power.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA and IEEE codes.
• Ability to prepare construction documents and technical calculations.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design for industrial projects across multiple sectors.
• Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and conduct site visits.
• Prepare calculations, specifications, construction documents and reports.
• Support QA/QC to maintain standards and project delivery quality.
• Collaborate with project managers on scope, schedule and budget.
