Job summary

Northern Kentucky-based food manufacturing facility is seeking an Industrial Electrical & Controls Technician to own PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical and automated control systems on production equipment, with real-time line support and planned upgrades.

Preferred candidates have 3–5 years in industrial electrical maintenance, an appropriate technical degree, and comfort with a 12-hour rotating schedule day/night in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance or controls troubleshooting preferred.
• Associate degree, technical certification, apprenticeship, military training, or equivalent in electrical technology, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or automation.
• Comfortable in a food plant; GMP experience is a plus, not a gate.
• Able to work the 12-hour rotating schedule, day or night.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical and automated control systems on production equipment.
• Provide real-time line support plus participate in upgrades and startups.
• Read schematics/drawings and document work in the CMMS for continuity.
• Own PLCs, VFDs, motor control, and ensure lines stay up.
