Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Specialist to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical and control systems across the facility. You’ll support efficient production by ensuring equipment reliability, implementing preventive PMs, and advancing control system capabilities.

You will train operators and maintenance staff, collaborate with maintenance and production teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience required in a manufacturing environment.
• 2–4 years of documented industrial experience; strong schematic reading capability.
• Experience with PLC coding/troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and equipment across the facility.
• Perform and support preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems.
• Train operators and maintenance technicians on equipment functionality and best practices.
• Assist in design, installation, and implementation of new control systems and upgrades.
• Research and develop improved electrical controls and automation processes to enhance performance.
