Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a respected global leader in building automation and industrial technology. The role focuses on monitoring and optimizing plant PCS, PLC programming, and power distribution within an industrial facility.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 1–3 years of cement or similar industry experience, with hands-on experience in instrumentation, motors, VFDs, and Modbus/Profinet/Ethernet networks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
1–3 years of electrical engineering experience in cement or similar industrial facilities.
Experience with PLC programming and process control systems preferred (ABB 800xA, Siemens S7).
Knowledge of instrumentation, motors, starters, and VFDs; familiarity with Modbus/Profinet/Ethernet networks.
Understanding of high and low voltage power distribution.

Responsibilities

Monitor plant PCS including programming, testing, commissioning and maintenance.
Support PCS as a resource for multiple departments.
Assist installation of new plant equipment from concept to operation.
Collaborate with Electrical Supervisor and Process Engineers to optimize operations.
Provide expertise in electrical systems, power distribution and PLC troubleshooting.
